The Inter-university Doctoral programme in Advanced English Studies: Linguistics, Literature and Culture, run by the Universities of A Coruña (UDC), Santiago de Compostela (USC) and Vigo (UVigo) will celebrate the IDAES Graduate Day 2017 on May 30th at the University of A Coruña.
On 16 Dec 2016 José Carregal Romero defended his doctoral dissertation "Contemporary Redefinitions of the Irish Family in Colm Tóibín's Fiction" at the Faculty of Philology and Translation in Vigo.
On 15 Nov 2016 the IDAES PhD programme celebrated the "IDAES-UVigo Seminar series I" at the Faculty of Philology and Translation in Vigo.
Dr. Ramón Grosfoguel (University of California, Berkeley) conducted the postgraduate seminar "Decolonial Theory Perspectives on Intersectionality" at the University of Vigo. The activity has been funded by IDAES-UVigo.
